Our team has provided counseling to a consortium formed by ten of the largest construction companies in the country, during the entire contract of the second-largest hydroelectric power plant in Brazil – the third largest in the world.
We have also provided counseling regarding international contracts to companies in the oil and gas sector.
We have worked with companies and consortiums (formed by national and foreign companies) in construction contracts, Utility Concession Agreements, and Public-Private Partnerships (“PPP”) executed in Brazil, whose objects were federal and state highways, airports, prison systems, arenas, hospitals, among others.
Our team has advised companies and consortiums (formed by national and foreign companies) in construction contracts made in other countries (such as Turkey, Netherlands, Libya, Zambia and Colombia, among others).
Arbitration: we have represented a foreign company in a case managed by CAM-CCBC (Center of Arbitration and Mediation – Chamber of Commerce Brazil – Canada), regarding a dispute of a supply contract against a mining company.
Also in arbitration, we have represented a consortium of private construction companies , in a case managed by CAMARB (CAMARA DE ARBITRAGEM EMPRESARIAL – BRASIL), against a company in the steel industry.
Arbitrations, representing four consortiums of private construction companies, managed by CCI (Chamber of International Commerce), in reference to the financial and economic imbalance affecting contracts celebrated with a São Paulo State Department.
In an arbitration managed by CMA-IE (Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Engineering Institute), we have represented a construction of private companies, in reference to an economic and financial imbalance in a contract.
Arbitration managed by CAM-CCBC (Center for Arbitration and Mediation – Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada), in which we have represented a steel company, Canada) against a consortium of international companies.
